One of the earliest Russian GP models to utilize a voice diaphragm. This gas mask's history is a bit confusing, it is commonly called the GP-6 but the official name is GP-5M. It has another name also, the PMG-2. The diffrence is that the GP-5M is used by civilians and civil defense and has the GP-5 style bag and filter as pictured, and the PMG-2 is used by the military with a bigger filter, a hose,  and a bigger bag. In the military it was supposedly used by officers and tank crew.
